If you want to have fancy transition effects on entering your page / site, or on exiting your page / site, then this is your extension. It has about 26 transition effects.

But hold it... it works only on Internet Explorer (i.e., 80% of your target audience) and will be ignored by Netscape.

So go ahead and have transitions, there is no harm.
